A team is formed to achieve a, and for that all of the team members have to combine and share their skills to achieve different jobs and achieve that single goal. Often it is seen that a staff with high performance people does not obtain the given goals. There might be many good reasons for failure of the team. One may be the pride of the in-patient team members.

Confidence broadly speaking means the sense of self-importance. Pride gets defined in numerous ways by psychiatrists and plays many roles in shaping our life. Pride clashes are well-known. Even small children have egos. As a group how does pride influence our performance? Let us ask on that.

Quiz your goals - what are the goals of the team, who is enjoying which role, who is being given what significance and who will be given simply how much volume of credit, these questions must be clearly answered otherwise the effect will be conflict sooner or later of time. Every team member has be built to feel essential and clearly informed about expectations from him/her. These are character objectives that have to be achieved and identified.

Quiz the ego amounts - The team leader should communicate with individual team members and learn the ego level of each member. Once the staff member knows the sensitivities of all the members, he/she may treat the member accordingly. It generally does not mean that if your group member has high pride then that that has to be pampered. In that case the member must get that input and asked to keep his /her pride expectations low and matching with the group goals.

Confidence can contribute to great success and also play havoc. Get a handle on the vanity of the associates and fabulous results will be got by you. Test your group about each one of these features and you will win. lloyd irvin
