Downloading YouTube videos can be tough or easy. The tough way involves using browser plug-ins, which rarely work, they're often buggy and you may waste hours trying to make them work.
So here would be the three ideas to successful YouTube downloads:
1) Software: There is powerful software that replaces the outmoded browser plug-in. At the end of the content there is also a connect to it. It will everything for you. You put in it, find the videos online you would like and it rips a clean file for you to use. Even better, it's video conversion built in. That means you don't have to be tied to one video file type. You are able to convert raw YouTube download to avi, wmv, mov, avi file types, etc. etc. Normally you need to get a separate video conversion program to perform this function. But a good YouTube video download computer software has it built in.
2) Quality: If you would like your video downloading to become easy, only select videos which are under 10 minutes long. Videos over 10 mins will be slow. Only rip an extended video should you really have to get it. But gauging the video play time will help you have quicker, easier downloads.
3) Stop with download plug-ins: They are plug-ins you install in your browser. Time wasted on this method causes it to be not worth it. And even if you discover a plug-in that actually works, there is a most likely chance it's not going to work in a month. Besides, you can't covert raw YouTube videos into another format having a plug-in. When i first started with this process and finally got frustrated enough to where I quit using YouTube like a source for videos. But thankfully I discovered the download software now I've gone to using YouTube as a video source and it is easy. The software runs in the background as i focus on other projects. It beeps me when my YouTube videos are fully ripped and able to use.
